Method

  1. 1Preheat oven to 150°C / 300°F.
  2. 2Wash and thoroughly dry the kale — any moisture and it steams instead of crisps.
  3. 3Toss with oil, making sure every leaf is lightly coated. Spread on baking sheets in a single layer.
  4. 4Bake 15-20 minutes, checking every 5 minutes. They go from almost done to burnt quickly.
  5. 5Season with salt immediately and eat within an hour — they lose their crunch quickly.
