Garden Herb Salt

Mix fresh garden herbs with coarse salt and dry them. One of the best gifts from a garden, and it keeps for months.

Method

  1. 1Pulse herbs and salt together in a food processor until finely mixed — do not over-process.
  2. 2Spread on a baking sheet and leave to dry at room temperature for 24 hours, or dry in the oven at 50°C for 2 hours.
  3. 3Once completely dry, store in a jar. It keeps for 3-6 months.
