Method

  1. 1Blanch beans in boiling salted water for 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and refresh in cold water.
  2. 2In the same pan, melt butter over medium heat until foaming. Add almonds and toast, stirring, until golden — 2 minutes.
  3. 3Add garlic and cook 30 seconds. Add beans and toss to coat.
  4. 4Squeeze over lemon and season. Serve immediately.
