Building plant in the open
We decided early that we would build plant in the open. Not a teaser site with a waitlist and a launch date, but the real thing, growing crop by crop where anyone can read it.
Right now the library has its first verified anchors live: cherry tomato, beefsteak, carrot, and leaf lettuce, each written for a specific zone and a specific week, not for some abstract average climate. Every planting date and harvest window is checked against extension sources before it goes up.
The reason is trust. There are a lot of gardening apps that will confidently tell you to plant tomatoes in February. We would rather move slower and be right. So the count grows a little every week, and you can watch it happen.
If you are reading this, you are early. Tell us where we are wrong, what your zone does that ours does not, and what crop you want next. That feedback is shaping the order we build in.
