What you'll need
How it comes together
Preheat oven to 300°F.
Wash and thoroughly dry the kale. Any moisture and it steams instead of crisps.
Toss with oil, making sure every leaf is lightly coated. Spread on baking sheets in a single layer.
Bake 15-20 minutes, checking every 5 minutes. They go from almost done to burnt quickly.
Season with salt immediately and eat within an hour. They lose their crunch quickly.
